This is an excellent Stereo card of two whaling ships in the Arctic. They are identified as the “Diana” and the “Nova Zembla”. It is from a Keystone “Tour of the World” 400 card set (the cards are numbered T1 to T400) from about the 1930\'s. The card is titled \"Whalers Cruising in the Arctic – Dexterity Harbor and Baffin Land.\" and is numbered 389 with a Keystone negative number of V27198 T. This card is in excellent to near mint condition and measures 3 1/2\" by 7”. The back of the card is printed with information about the subject. Please note that the lighting I used to photograph these cards was a little uneven and so one side of the card may appear to be a little lighter or darker than the other & some have a little glare. Stereoviews or stereo cards have two nearly identical images mounted side by side. When looked at through a stereo viewer they give a three-dimensional image. Most popular from 1854 to 1938, they were produced in vast quantities, and many are of historical interest. They usually measure about 3 ½” by 7”.
