This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.
Description
Cover art by Irving Tripp. Untitled Little Lulu story; Lulu disguises herself as a boy to try to keep the boys from playing hooky. Untitled Little Lulu story; Lulu\'s pop pays Lulu to try to get Alvin to break his noisy record. Gazo the Hypnotist; Lulu thinks she has hypnotized Tubby into giving her an ice cream cone. Shirley the Shadow; Lulu tells Alvin about the little girl who lost her shadow. Untitled Tubby story; Tubby\'s model airplane flies out the window and into a counterfeiters\' apartment. The Hat; Lulu wears her mother\'s new hat outside and Wilbur\'s dog eats it. All scripts by John Stanley, art by Irving Tripp. Two-page text story, Lulus Diry (\"Diary\").
