Seven antique copper monogram stencils.

The antique and old monogram stencils were used for embroidering laundry items back then.
In the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century it was normal for every woman\'s linen - called trousseau, table linen, bed linen, towels, nightwear - to be embroidered with her initials.
