Ludwig Van Beethoven Death Mask Sculpture Post-Mortem Grave Gothic 19th Century For Sale

This fine death or life mask or face of Ludwig Van Beethoven (1770-1827) is about 10 high x 7 wide x 7 deep inches and made of old plaster. The mask is stained. Please see pictures for details. The death mask looks even better and more vibrant in person. The mask is very strong and hangs from a rusty wire loop on the top of the head. The masks has a brownish and dark gray aged patina of beautiful colored stains. The original cast was made in 1827. This is a fine head and is completely solid.
