Mid Century Modern Huger BGM Sputnik table Weather Station model 1951. Designed to commemorate the Russian Sputnik Space satellite circa 1960. This vintage station includes Barometer, Hygrometer and temperature gauges mounted in a clear plastic sphere with brass workings and accents. The sphere sits in a NSEW directional table with wood base and brass ring accent. Included is the original instructions and booklet. It is in good working condition but may need adjustment after shipping. The brass has a nice warm patina and I will leave any polishing to buyer. Some prefer the original patina and others don’t. Stands approximately 9.5” tall sitting on base. Base top is 6.75” in diameter. This is a great working conversational piece of history that are getting hard to find.
