Historic Mouseketeer Treasures from Saturday's Toys presents... a one-of-a-kind treasure from the personal Mickey Mouse Club collection of original 1950's Mouseketeer Lonnie Burr.  Includes Lonnie's own signature autograph and sketch of the classic Mickey Mouse "ears" logo from the show's first season as was used when the program premiered on October 3, 1955.  With his own personal flourish, Lonnie notes the year the program premiered (1955) and the year that this pennant was signed by all involved (1994).

The unique assembly of signatures was also signed by Walt Disney World "Event and Creative Manager" Patrick Logan during the 2nd Official Disneyana Convention held at the Walt Disney World Convention Center at the Contemporary Resort and Hotel... September 8 thru 11, 1994.  In honor of this rare gathering of television's 1950's Mouseketeers, Patrick Logan provided his own seldom seen Disney University pennant / flag that had been issued to cast members during their exclusive orientation / training at Walt Disney World during 1994.

Pennant is in good condition for its age; with some evidence of prior wear from display and subsequent long-term storage.  Signatures were originally written with black marker over the red felt and white ink; with some of the ink now difficult to see where the white ink didn't provide a permanent hold.  Still, the red pennant signatures display very well.  The left edge of the pennant (white fabric) is 8 5/8" long and 1" wide; as stitched onto the red pennant.  The long sides of the banner are approx. 18.5" long; and the short side is approx. 7 3/8".  The pointed end of the banner shows additional signs of wear, as shown.

Includes signed Certificate of Authenticity from Mouseketeer Lonnie Burr.

Lonnie Burr starred as one of television's original Mouseketeers of the "Mickey Mouse Club", which also included Annette Funicello, Bobby Burgess, Cubby O'Brien, Karen Pendleton, Doreen Tracey, Sharon Baird, Tommy Cole and Darlene Gillespie... along with adult leaders Jimmie Dodd and Roy Williams.  These talented performers were among the "original nine" who would appear on all three seasons of the program's daily episodes.

In his Hollywood career both before and after the Mouseketeers, Lonnie worked with dozens of entertainment legends including Jimmy Stewart, Elvis Presley, Roy Rogers, Eddie Cantor, Bob Hope, Sammy Davis Jr., Robin Williams, Dinah Shore, Clayton Moore (The Lone Ranger), Ed Wynn, Carol Channing, Robert Preston, Jack Benny, Shirley MacLaine, Ginger Rogers, Charlie Ruggles, Abbott & Costello, Dean Martin, Buddy Ebsen, Jimmy Durante, Billy Crystal, Jerry Lewis, Angela Lansbury, Steven Spielberg, Gower Champion, Bob Fosse, Cecil B.
