Midcentury Serving Tray Faux Rosewood Laminate Pewter Aluminum Rim 12" Vintage For Sale

Vintage Mid century modern serving tray. Has a faux wood grain laminate base with a silver toned rim. I believe it is aluminum as it is somewhat malleable, but it also has a pewter tone and feel. I'm not a metals expert. Beautiful reddish brown wood tone. This tray measures 12" in diameter and weighs 1lb., 2.4 oz. The tray is in vintage condition. No chips or cracks. No wear or scratches to the faux wood surface. Minor scratching to the aluminum/pewter rim. Could easily be polished. The rim has some uneven areas to it. Mostly felt when running a hand over the edge. I point this out in the photos. Please refer to the photos as they are part of the description. As stated earlier in the description, the rim is somewhat malleable and may be able to be gently adjusted back into shape. This tray is an original midcentury piece of 50+ years.
