Milnot has a long, glorious history, beginning operations in 1912 as The Litchfield Creamery Company. The Litchfield plant (the actual building – now demolished – and surrounding land sold at sale for $56,000 at the 11/10/18 sale) was built in 1916, with condensed milk being its main product.
