Napcoware National Potteries Co. 7\" tall Porcelain Bisque Handpainted Toy Maker. This is a realistic old man. He is in perfect condition.
This is a gorgeous piece. I could find no other like it. I could find plenty of your average napco figurines but I cannot find another toy maker.
The detail on this piece is magnificent. Take a look at the horse he is carving for some lucky child. It\'s a wonderful horse model. Everything about this piece is well done and whoever the creator was really new human anatomy.
I like the colors of it and I like the bisque of the porcelain. Based on other pieces in this line I have seen, the man is of another culture, but not sure which. Maybe an old Japanese or Chinese peasant. The number on the bottom of the piece is C–6143.
