Here is a great vintage sign that is fresh from a Connecticut estate. This sign measures approximately 18 in across by just shy of 11 in tall and it weighs just under 3 pounds. I believe it is steel and it is hand-painted. My research has revealed that Heald machine company operated in Worcester Massachusetts from approximately 1903 through the 1960s. They were makers of grinding machines and grinding wheels that aided in the war effort. This sign would be a great home front piece to any War collection whether it be World War one World War II or the Korean War.
