Here is an original late 1950's vintage travel lithograph poster advertising FLY TWA to SAN FRANCISO. Poster features a Cable Car, Dragon, Golden Gate Bridge, Painted Ladies houses, and an Airplane. Also on the Cable Car, the writing says: "Presidio Ave California & Market Streets." Size is aproximately 40" tall by 25" Wide. Has printed litho signature (not hand signed) by illustrator David Klein. Lower left has printing that says "4-1096 PRINTED IN U.S.A."
Condition is Very Good. No tears, rips, or holes. Vivid colors. Minor undulations, scuffs and wrinkles. Corners and edges slightly bent (one corner small fold). Someone wrote "San Francisco" on the back, but does not show through on the front. The pictures above are of the actual poster I am selling and show a very accurate idea of the condition. (Note that there is some glare in the first few pictures). I am not a "poster guy" - I'm not sure how to grade this poster, so I tried to best describe imperfections and take lost of photos. I would say that this poster would look very nice in a frame.
The poster has been rolled up for decades, but it unrolls nicely. As you can see in the pictures, I used D-Cell batteries to hold the poster flat (batteries not included).
