So that's what the AI has to say about it. Here's what I know: I found this bayonet up above the door frame in the bedroom closet of a house we moved into in 1960 when I was seven. My mother saw me playing with it in the yard and confiscated it. I got it back around 1970 or so and it's been packed away in a box ever since.
There are dings and pitting, and not much of an edge, but I've had it so long it feels like a part of the family.
