Pair of MCM Brutalist Heavy Painted Brass Candlesticks For Sale

This pair of candlesticks measure 9 inches in height and are constructed of a heavy brass. The body of the candlesticks is formed into a brutalist style pinched and angled four foot design, kind of a star shape at the bottom. The main part of the candlesticks are pebble textured and painted black, with raw brass edges. The tops are all brass, unpainted. There is wear to the paint and oxidization to the brass from age, but nothing extreme - can be left as is or touched up/cleaned. I\'ve tried to remove the wax residue but there remains some - i didn\'t want to be aggressive with the cleaning. Very mid century, very brutalist but simple. Heavy in weight.
