Handwritten dates, 1898 to 1901, likely denote the individual\'s service period, while the name inscription, possibly \"E-N-I-H,\" adds a personal touch to this ornate piece.
The metal components, including the horse, wreath, cross, rifle, sword, pendants, and even the picklehaube atop the wreath, contribute to its intricate craftsmanship. Encased under plastic, the six is preserved, a feature often subject to damage due to aging.
