1960\'s Vintage Randall #11-5\", Stag, 01 Tool Steel, 3 Thick 2 Thin Spacers. Brass Single Flat-top Hilt. Thumb Notches.
Brass-lined Lanyard Hole with Lanyard. Norton two part gray \'Combination Crystolon\' stone with White Letters, (62-67).
Set up as a left-handed carry, with left-hand finger notches in the stag handle, and Lefty RBJ sheath. (Feels great right-handed,also.)
This one has the super rare small etched S. And the FLA. Blade Stamp.
The Left-handed Rough Back Johnson leather sheath is stamped \"11 W 5\" for a model 11 5\" Waxed sheath.
This knife has quite a unique set of features seldom seen in a vintage Randall!
This knife is in unused condition, although it is possible it was touched up by the shop long ago. The blade grind is full and perfect, with factory edge.
It looks like it was dropped on the end of the stag handle, at some point, as a chunk of stag is missing. Stag is tight and solid at the chip.
I have more questions than answers on this rare beauty, as it doesn\'t fall into my typical Randall collecting patterns. I\'ve had it since the 1990\'s, but can\'t tell you much more than that.
