RARE FIND!!! ONLY 250 PRINTED - THIS IS AN. A.P. # 47 OF ONLY 250. This unique depiction of Fire Meets Fantasy is an earlier creation (1988) by the world-renowned known artist/author P.D.Breeding Black-Stamped and hand signed. I bought this about 30 yrs. ago at King Richards Renaissance Faire in Carver Mass where I met Patricia-before she started her work on Talislanta. I was spellbound by the hidden details found within this picture after all these years I am still finding hidden art within the art. P. D. Breeding Black was the first to work on the fantasy role playing books "Talislanta". She also created the cover art and was instrumental in creating the look and feel for practically every book in the Talislanta series. Theprint itself is 15" X 22" Beautifully displayed in a renaissance style silverframe 25"X 31". As P.D. Breeding-Black continues to impress us with her creative abilities I can'timagine living in a world where her art would not continue to increase in value. I did recently have this appraised at skinner sales-Boston, Mass. and was given a quote of between $900.00 to $1,300.00-could be higher depending on who attends the sale but after sale fee's ect. I decided to try to sell it myself first. This has been hanging in my store in Mass. for the past 25Yrs. (of which I have since had to close) but I can'tremember a time when someone actually walked past it without comment-It simply commands your attention! I recently receivedan email letting me know of Patricia's passing on Nov. 22nd-She will be trulymissed-she was such an inspiration to all.
