RARE…. This beautiful, JW. Original bread and milk basket is a true collectors item. As we are all aware, Longaberger started out making utilitarian baskets that were made for every day use. You can see by this example that this basket was well loved and used by its owner. This basket has also been authenticated by a family member. The bread and milk basket was originally called the Otto basket and was made to go in between the seats of a model T car. This aloud the owner to put a loaf of bread and a container of milk side by side, without falling over.
Please know that this rare basket would make a great addition to any Longaberger collection.
