RARE Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Desk Set Inkwell with Under Tray and Blotter For Sale

Recent Virginia estate find. Offering a stunning and quite scarce, desk set by Royal Copenhagen in the blue fluted pattern. Includes the single, square inkwell with the undertray fitted for the inkwell to rest in the center indented well and the blotter. Only two issues with this set. First, unfortunately the lid to the inkwell is missing and the second concern is somewhat insignificant; a tiny inclusion on the well. At the base bottom, on the curved edge there is a very tiny and thin flake. Very small and not readily seen, especially when the inkwell rests in the tray well (see last photo). Other than these, no other condition concerns and each piece is first quality. The blotter paper is old and the metal bracket could use some polishing restoration or possibly steel color staining, but it fits firmly on the porcelain holder and the paper holds to the bracket incredibly well. A stack of about three sheets of paper are currently on the blotter; however, we believe replacement paper is still available that can be fitted. Overall an amazing set and extremely hard to find.Please see all photographs for dimensions, condition and design. Click on each for a larger, expanded view.
