This is an original US Navy Periscope gunsight. It is big at 13 x 13 x 60 inches. You can look thru the eyepiece and see out the periscope end just like in a submarine. It does rotate in its mount a little. It is well marked USN Bur. Of Ord. Periscope MK 41 Mod 3, No. 186 Wt. 36 lbs. US Naval Gun Factory, Washington DC.
