Very Rare Vintage Items are being sold as used, but in very good condition for the age. Here isA chance to own a piece of military history, this is a rare estate sale find. Pair of historic Selective Service in Illinois books, with some great handwritten notes and signatures. One book has LT Col Fred W. Jacobi's name on the bottom right corner. He has several handwritten notes praising him on inside pages to include a 1949 note by Col Victor KLeber the former Deputy State Director of the Illinois selective service (bookauthor), another by Col Paul Armstrong, and Maj Gen. Lewis Hershey National Director of Selective Service and later advisor to the president on manpower mobilization.

The second copy has no name on the Hardcover, but a dedication from Col Paul Armstrong to Sgt Barney McMeen USMC. Who served in combat in Korea, signed by Armstrong in Dec 1954. Please see the great pictures and decide for yourself if right for you and thank you.
