RARE Vintage Valley Forge Flag Co US "Pioneer" Flag 13 Star Bennington 76' COMPLETE IN ORIGINAL BOX! 51-AL (aluminum pole) This rare ORIGINAL find is an unbelievable addition to any Military or Flag Collection!! This flag is in its original box, is 3' × 5' and includes all its original paperwork, Eagle Topper, Rope and Alum Pole.
The paperwork shows this is a Bennington 13 Star Flag.
"The Bennington Flag with its unusual arrangement of Stars and Stripes, flew over the military stores in Bennington, Vermont on August 16, 1977. General John Stark's militia led the Americans in decisively defeating a large
British raiding force, thus protecting the precious military supplies at Bennington. This battle improved the morale of the American forces and so weakened General Burgoyne's army as to aid in its capture two months later at Saratoga."
The paperwork has the original instructions on how to properly mount and display these flags, even when and where to display them. The paperwork is in great condition with minor wear, the box, Flag and all contents are also in new, old stock condition with some minor storage wear and marks. Again this Flag and its contents are NEW and have never been displayed, pretty much never even taken out of the box. The few spots can definitely be cleaned up and there's no damage or significant issues whatsoever! The aluminum poles are perfectly straight with no corrosion, dents, or damage and the Eagle Topper is Pristine as well as the original rope that came to hang it!
