Extremely rare and hard to find! Great collectable for New Orleans, The New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) or the now defunct, but much loved D.H. Holmes Dept. Store
This beauty is still bright and has had little, if any fading on the exterior. The wonderful colors of deep blue, gold, red and light blue adorn almost the entire exterior and features a large depiction of the boy king on the front and back, along with the name \"Holmes\" near the bottom. On the sides there are two Egyptian columns topped by the notation: TREASURES OF TUTANKHAMUN NEW ORLEANS MUSEUM OF ART Sept. 18, 1977- Jan. 15,1978.
The Bad: There is about a 2\" tear at the top on one wide side; also on this side there are 2 small puncture tears near the bottom and they are hard to see with the colors of the bag. On the other wide side there are 2 smaller tears less than 1\'\' each at the top. There is a very small tear at the top of one of the narrow sides. The inside is faded and yellowed, and there is what looks like an ink stain in one corner. The handles are yellowed, but very much in tact. Please look at all of the pictures.
This would look awsome framed!
