This is a pin up girl advertising card from Britain. You don't see many of those. Pin up girls were very American. This is an advertising card and as you open it shows different images and each one gets progressively bigger. Images are a time line of girls. The first one shows a 1932 girl, then 1938, 1946 up to the current year 1949. Made by a British company named "Felco Hoists". The pin up image were are signed but hard for me to read the last name and I'm not familiar with this artist. Looks like Wilton Willington possibly. There is also a small folder that the card was originally mounted in too. Pin up in good condition but has some flaws, there are some small tears on the folds, one side about 1 inch, another side about 2 inches and a 3rd side about 1 inch tear all along the fold crease. In the very center where all the folds meet a very small hold. No other damage. Folded up measures 5 x 7, unfolded measures about 14 x 20.
Great for framing, always a conversation piece. Guaranteed to be an authentic "old" item.
