I am not sure of the actual material it is made of. My research suggests it is silver or silver plated. I am not sure though. Good condition for being almost 100 years old with signs of age and usage. Slight bruising (or dimples?) that is hard to see on the side. Very minor and hard to photograph. Best part is it does work! Recently a similar one that was in rough shape and not working sold for over $600 on . These are very rare and the hallmarked Silver ones will sell up to $5,000
