Rare Antique Minton Soup Tureen Serving Dish #3501 For Sale

This antique white Minton Soup Tureen boasts a domed lid toppedwith an artichoke shaped handle an intricate allover blue ribbon wreath design.The rare 1850’s tureen adds an elegance and charm to any dining setting. It is an impressive piece for serving soups, stews,or other dishes. From handle to handlethe tureen measures approximately 12-3/4” in diameter. With the top on it measures approximately 10”and without the top the tureen it measures 6-1/2”. The under-plate measures approximately 14-3/4”x 1-1/2”. The back stamp reads RibbonWreath and contains Minton marks. Theladle shown is not matching, but a blue and white ladle I had on hand which Iwill include. This is considered to bein excellent antique condition with normal wear commensurate with age which includesminor manufacturing imperfections.
