This rare stoneware jug is a must-have for any collector or enthusiast of distillery memorabilia. Made by C.P. Monroe in Louisville, Kentucky, this 2-gallon whiskey jug is a unique find that is sure to impress. The jug features a classic design and is in excellent condition, perfect for display or use. Unable to find very much information on this jug I did post it to a Kentucky Jug Facebook collection page and no one had seen this jug. Unlisted in any book rare and possibly the only one known, it comes from a long time collector out of Meridian Mississippi. How it found its way there only the jug could tell. It does have one chip on the lip more towards the back, displays excellent could be repaired easily, one or two flakes off the heel. No cracks or major damage handle excellent condition!!!!!
