Rare and Exceptional Almeidaite from the Type Locality - Novo Horizonte, Brazil For Sale

Dimensions: 2.7 x 2.0 x 0.5cm, thumbnail.This is a large and exceptional specimen for the species from the type locality and \"recently\" described in 2013! Almeidaite is a complex lead zinc manganese yttrium titanium iron oxide-hydroxide and newest member of the Crichtonite Group of minerals. This rather large (for the species), tabular, gray to black, submetallic crystal of Almeidaite has well-defined faces and edges. This piece is part of the original find of specimens collected by Luiz Menezes and I obtained it from his wife several years ago while in Brazil.
