Robert Del Naja signed photo authenticated / encapsulated by Beckett - BANKSY
In 2017, DJ Goldie accidently slipped a name when asked about the street artist Bansky. Many think the name he slipped was Robert Del Naja, aka 3D, street artist and front man for the group Massive Attack.
The actual quote from the Goldie interview:
“Give me a bubble letter and put it on a T-shirt and write Banksy on it and we’re sorted. We can sell it now.. No disrespect to Robert, I think he is a brilliant artist. I think he has flipped the world of art over.”
After which he paused and quickly changed the subject. This was not the first time Del Naja has been tied to the possible ID of Banksy. It was this inncident that seemed to have solidify the rumors for many.
The 8\"x10\" photograph features Del Naja and Grantley Marshall, aka \"Daddy G\". Both have signed the photo. The photo was signed in July 2014 in Amsterdam.
The signatures were authenticated by Beckett Authentication services (BAS) and encpsulated by Beckett Grading (BGS). Due to the size of the holder, there are some light reflections on the holder in the sale picture. Both the photo and the holder are near perfect with no damge or markings.
This very rare signature could possibly the autograph of the worlds most imfamous srteet artist whos sometimes illegal street art sells for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Please see the picture of the actual item being sold and ask any questions before offerding or making an offer. Thank you!
