A beautiful Handle lamp that has a lovely bronzed effect and appears to be made of bronze metal as well. It measures approx. 21" from base to the top of the original finial and the base is 6-1/4" across. It weighs 4lbs. 3oz. with the lamp, cord and plug.
It has both of it's original Hubbell sockets with the acorns on the end of the pull chains and are labeled Hubbell along with 250V. It has it's original wiring which is frayed and would need to be replaced along with it's original black colored bakelite plug that would need repair as it appears that someone pulled too hard and cracked part of the interior of the plug. It has its original finial, but you can see in the pictures that there's a small split in the metal that would need repair. It's likely that someone dropped it on that final or it tipped over causing the break.
The felt was already coming off the base and I took it off to ensure that there was a Handle stamp on the base and it is there on the curve of the lamp. It's skewed as the metal was sheared in the manufacturing processing, likely to take off any sharp metal burs that were present when the lamp was cast and came out of the mold. I did take a close picture of it so you can see it.
The original felt I will include in the shipping if you would like it, or would like to color match it, but it does need replacement. On the felt was the original Handle fabric tag which has become detached from time, but I have carefully put this in a small plastic bag and attached it to the lamp so that you can paste/sew it back on to the bottom felt when you make repairs.
It's a lovely lamp and there are others out there in the same style in 's sold listings, so it's possible to get a pair of these since they do come up in the market every now and again!
