Signed Paul Tibbets Boeing B-17F Red Gremlin Danbury Mint Fortress Desk Model For Sale

This is a unique wooden desk model of the Boeing B-17F Red Gremlin Flying Fortress and plaque signed by none other than Paul Tibbets. The limited edition 656 of 3000 model is a great collectible piece for aviation enthusiasts, especially those interested in military aircraft. It was expertly crafted in the Philippines and has not been modified in any way.

This plane and signature are 15 to 20 years old. It came from an estate sale from an aviation enthusiast. The plane and signature are visually in good condition. There are slight paint cracks by the wing from the aging wood(see pics). There is 1 rivet missing on the metal and paint cracking on the top of the wood portion of the plaque. The decal on the bottom of the plaque is slightly lifted on one side, but stuck on just fine. The propeller on engine 2 is tight and has to be twisted and pushed in.
