This small 5.5” creamer/pitcher is a beautifully handcrafted piece of Sioux pottery originating from River City, South Dakota. It has a rich and creamy background and is decorated in a beautiful cobalt blue design with an etched out tribal design. It has a glossy glaze and is signed on the base. Possibly a Lauri ?
The provenance of this item is unknown, but it has been well-maintained and is in excellent condition. It does have 2 areas where the glaze did not “take” - see photos 15 & 16. And a small brownish mark on the handle - see last photo. It would make a wonderful addition to any collection of Native American pottery to be used every day, or as a standalone decorative piece.
Please look at photos carefully as they

you have any questions please ask

reflect the extra time, care and
packing material needed to make sure

and distance can be a factor - shipped
from Florida. I try to use recycled
