Solid Brass Wood Handle Hinged Lid Buttler crumb catcher Bed Warmer Vintage For Sale

I honestly have no idea what this is but it\'s solid brass, super cute and has a wooden handle. I was told it was a bed warmer, you put hot coals in it and warm in-between the sheets. I have also been told it is a buttler crumb catcher or a potpourri container.
