Nice stereograph view of territorial Yuma Arizona from 1880. The imagewas originally taken by Carleton Watkins in 1880. #4876. (View over the City,Yuma Arizona). Having no studio after the loss of his studio to creditors inthe late 1870s, he began publishing a “New Series”. This image was likely donebetween the loss of his gallery and the New Series of images. This is the samemount stock he used for most of his early images. Yuma Arizona is in period inkbelow the image.
