Gorgeous hand painted Japanese vile by the Tilso company for export to the US. I’ve been able to research the dates of manufacture for this piece to be from the mid 1940s to the early 1950s. The colors are soft and muted which is characteristic of porcelain bisque of that era.
This footed vase is a beautiful survivor. The colors are still dewey soft and the only defects that can be seen (upon very close inspection) is one appliqué pink rode petal. In the photos I did take a close of the small break but you won’t see it unless you are directly looking for it and it in no way detracts from the item’ appearance.
For further information, including the run down of the item please refer to the item details. I have included quite detailed measurements as well as the photos…all of which are part of the description.
Any questions, please to hesitate to DM me. Thanks so much for looking! 💕
PS: As for the shipping prices the USPS is always raising prices. I try to keep shipping fair to make sure the shipping price is covered and to include my time and expense of which I pride myself. I do what I can to reuse packaging whenever possible but most of the time I have to package bubble wrap, packing paper, shipping tape. Yeah, the shipping price sucks but I promise I’m only asking a few dollars more than the genuine base price for shipping. I hope you can understand. Thanks again.
