• Exterior of liner was painted white for some reason, should be easy paint removal for next owner if desired

We\'d say the shell chinstrap was more of a Tan Khaki color than a green . When you view it against the Classic OD green of the inside of the shell, it looks tan by comparison.
Funny, Neither the buckle hardware, nor the helmet itself are magnetic. But apparently some types of steel are magnetic and some aren\'t. All of the metal pieces of the liner do attract a magnet, including the liner chinstrap buckle.
The broken end of the liner chinstrap is just leather. There is no rivet on the end.
