Usagi Yojimbo stars in the new animated comedy-action seriesSamurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles, on Netflix. Sakai worked as the executive producer on the series and it was developed by Netflix and Gaumont. In Sakai\'s long-running Usagi Yojimbo has been optioned by Gaumont Film Company for development as an animated series.
