The Singer 201K is the best overall vintage sewing machine that money can buy. It was produced in large quantities from the 1920s to the 1950s, so finding parts is relatively easy. Plus, it sews up to 1,100 stitches per minute, is quieter than similar vintage models, can sew denim and leather. This one is a solid workhorse. Ideal for sewing most materials like denim, canvas, silk, leather, calico, and the like.This was made in the UK for North America. Motor was made for Singer , Canada. Voltage is for North America.EL serial number dates it to 1956.This was recently serviced just before Covid. Solid machine that will last forever. Not like other cheap sewing machines with Nylon inner parts.
Comes with the instruction book (in a bit rough shape) and Buttonholer 160506 / case and many attachments inside.
