VINTAGE GEM AUTOMATIC STROPPER DATED MAY 27, 1919 RARE ITEM MADE IN USA For Sale

Up for consideration a very unusual and rare Shaving item. It is an Automatic Stropper from the GEM Razor Company. It has a holder in the center to hold a single edge blade for sharpening across a razor strap. Comes apart in 2 pieces for convenient storage. It is dated on the underside and marked PATENTED MAY 27, 1919 * PATENT NO. 1304675. MADE IN U.S.A. Also marked on the sides AUTOMATIC STROPPER. Handle measures 2 3/8", top measures 2 3/8" long by 1 3/4" wide by 5/8" high. Very good condition.
