This antique Victorian bride's basket by Poole Silver Co. is a stunning piece of history. The round bowl features a heavily ruffled pink satin painted glass design that is sure to catch the eye of any collector. The stand was made in United States during the Victorian Era and is an original piece.
The bowl is perfect for display and would make a great addition to any collection. The bowl is magnificent, the opalescent satin effect combined with the graduating color is just breathtakingly beautiful.
This one is all about the bowl and is a must-have for any collector of vintage glassware or anyone who appreciates the history and beauty of antique pieces.
Condition
Bowl no Chips or cracks evident has some color scratches underneath I believe from the silver stand. These may come off with appropriate cleaning. However, I cannot guarantee if they do. Still this is an absolutely stunning glass piece. The hand painted design, the ruffles, it all is outstanding.
Stand
The stand has heavy plate loss and discoloration. I believe this would be perfect to let if go dark naturally, which will enhance the contrast. One of the top scrolls appears to be loose at the bottom.
