A wonderful, high quality, teaching Buddha in the Tibetan style, seated in the half lotus position on a ceramic base. The statue appears to be hand painted and the colors remain bright and true. The Buddha comes from the estate of a China born U.S. resident who traveled back to China frequently and received mail orders from China regularly.
The very heavy Buddha measures approximately 12" tall, with the base measuring 7 1/2" x 6".
The condition of the Buddha is excellent, appearing to have only been used lightly for display, with no cracks, chips, scratches or crazing.
