ORIGINAL 1929 'EDWARD MALLINCKRODT CHEMICAL LABORATORY' HARVARD UNIVERSITY PHOTOGRAPHY by 'FAY PHOTO SERVICE BOSTON'This is really a wonderful original. I bought this photograph because very rarely do you find original photographs from this early in the 20th Century that are this size. When I figured out what building I was even more excited and then when I realized the building was lined with all original period cars, I thought it was really a must have. First off, this is a very important Chemistry Lab at Harvard University in Cambridge Massachusetts. Mallinckrodt was an important pharmaceutical company that has been around since the 19th Century. It is today, a Fortune 400 company. The photo is an original dating to 1929. It is one of the largest you will find from this period measuring 21 1/4 x 37 inches. It is signed in the lower right corner in the image by the photography company famous in Boston. Photograph is in outstanding original condition. Clean with great clarity. Just a few small spots but nothing too bad. Another of my favorite parts of this photograph is the cars that are parked in front of the building. 7 different original period cars dating to the late 1920s. Just an outstanding view of some period cars. Photograph is in the original dark oak frame that it started in. Just a great presentation of this outstanding rare photograph.
