Antique Wards Airline Radio Model 14BR-629A. AM Radio with Record Player/Recorder. Likely 1940s/1950s era. Records to "slow burning" record blanks. Includes Shure bakelite microphone.
This unit powers up and the radio works great. The reception gets better when you touch the knob, it would probably be better with the antenna wire pulled out. I think the record player needle is missing, it looks like the record burner needle is present. The turntable does turn. The clip securing the turntable is missing, so it will be padded well in shipping.
I would rather not make guarantees on 80 year electronics, so sell as-is for parts or repair.
Item weight is 28.6 lbs. Shipping may be pricey to west coast.
Condition: Unit powers up and radio is functional. Record player/recorder portion untested, but turntable does turn. Item is not fully tested, please see detailed photos.
