For offer is a Singer 201-2 Centennial Edition Sewing Machine manufactured in 1951 in the USA. Serial #AK228266. Item was verified on Singer website as being manufactured in 1951.
This item was tested and verified to be in excellent working condition. Wiring is in excellent condition. Light works perfectly. Cosmetically the piece is in absolutely beautiful condition. This was purchased from an estate sale and it appears it was delicately maintained during its previous ownership. There are some minor scuffs and superficial scratches on case, unit bottom, and on unit. Very minimal wear overall to the unit.
Item includes original Bentwood carrying case which includes the key. This was tested as well and verified to lock case.
Item includes various accessories including, but not limited to, Singer 201-2 manual, attachments box, cams, bobbins, needles, thread, motor grease, motor lubricant, etc. (please see pictures for all included accessories).

A description from inside the manual reads \"Machine 201-2, for family use, has a horizontal rotary sewing hook on a vertical axis and makes the lock stitch. It has reverse feeding mechanism by means of which the machine stitches as readily in a reverse direction as it does in a forward direction. It is especially designed for operation by electricity, having an electric motor build on the back of its arm. The motor drives the machine through spiral gears. It is also equipped with an electric SINGER-LIGHT.\"
