For your consideration we offer a vintage carved faux jade Chinese war horse figurine attributed to Gino Ruggeri for Wony, Italy. Artistically created with extraordinary detail, the horse fades from a deep emerald green in color to a creamy white with the same shading and translucency as authentic jade. The figure is attached to a rectangular resin base with foliate and scrolled relief. A large and substantial piece standing approximately 11” in height, the sculpture measures 12” in length, 4” wide, and weights just over 6 pounds. Dating to the mid-1960s and obviously well cared for across the decades, it’s in beautiful vintage condition with no chips, cracks, stains, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections found.
