This is a beautiful Cybis ceramic figurine of a male skylark. The piece is a limited edition, signed, and numbered #168. The intricate details of the bird and the matte finish make it perfect for any room. The bird is perched on a ceramic base and measures 8 inches in length, 8.5 inches in height, and 6 inches in width.
Made from 1958 to 1970 the skylark was originally sold as a set. Beginning production 750 of these were to be made but the edition Size ended up being reduced to only 350. This one is numbered 168. Pricing began at $300 and finished at $500, when the producrion wrapped up. The bird represented is the Eurasian skylark, Alauda arvensis.
This skylark is in excellent condition without any defects.
