Classically styled with gorgeous birdseye and a generously sized bowl, this is a well crafted billiard from Comoy’s. About 6” long, bowl is 1 7/8” tall, 1 3/8” wide. ID 3/4”, depth 1 5/8”. Marked on one side of shank COMOY’S/ TRADITION, other side MADE IN LONDON in circular fashion over ENGLAND then to the right 291. No other marks detected.
Bit Is well-seated push fit, no filter, clean and polished, showing oxidation but no bite wear. Stummel is milk chocolate colored, cross grain and birdseye, some handling wear, clean rim, lightly caked bowl. Fine old briar, gracefully crafted!
