Vintage Metal Tin \"Snack\" Lunchboxes 5.5\"x4.75\"x2.25\" 1997-1999. These metal \"Snack\" Boxes came out in a variety of sizes in the 1990s. This size was the medium snack box. They were sold in stores with a small package of candy, popcorn, or cookies inside. Some of the tin boxes (if pictured in the photos) have the list of candies that came with the tin. Each metal snack box was a smaller version reminiscent of the lunchboxes popular in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. Each box has great colorful graphics of a nostalgic toy, game, cartoon, or TV show. The perfect gift or gift package for anyone growing up with these toys, cartoons, or TV shows while also appealing to a variety of collectors.
