Vintage Mid Century Modern Starburst Sunburst Wall Clock United Corp 60s, *AS IS*
The original hands were replaced with these black hands, the minute hand has a piece of colored material on the top to help differentiate the 2 hands.
It has an older German quartz movement which does work, it has been keeping time. It runs on 1- "C" battery( battery not included).
When I found this , I noticed that (1)- of the brown plastic arms was MISSING, and there were (3) arms that were missing the screws for mounting them on the clock ( see pic of screws, very easy to find replacements).
Since I was missing the one arm, I just mounted the 4- on it when I used it. ( Cross design)
There is some typical tarnish marks,scratches, etc. on the brass/ metal designs and clock body. Plastic arms have some minor age cracks on the ends ( see pics)
The movement is movable, in case the hands are aligned, you can just rotate the movement to straighten it out.
Pretty neat MCM design!
I will remove all of the plastic arms for shipping, metal arms are permanently attached.
