Vintage Whelen 994 beacon rotator light, RARE blue dome For Sale

This is a vintage Whelen 994 beacon light. It has (4) PAR 36 clear bulbs that light up and rotate perfectly. The base is excellent. The retaining ring is very nice, no dents, and still has the original Whelen label on it in great shape. The light operates off of 12 volt DC power. The blue dome on a vintage light like this is rare. Although there are no cracks in the dome, it does have some scratches and crazing. I would say the blue is faded out as almost all these older Whelen blue domes are, but it still displays very well. These Whelen 994\'s were produced from mid 80\'s into the 90\'s approx. The top of the dome is marked \"Whelen Series 99\", so its an all original Whelen item. Per rules this is strictly a collectors piece, and is not to be used in any official capacity. This is a COLLECTIBLE BEACON LIGHT for collection purposes only. I am a collector and I know what it takes to ship these lights correctly, so it will be packaged and protected properly during shipping.
