This lovely hand made vintage jewelry/trinket box is in fair condition. It is not known when it was made but it looks like it has some age to it. There are no major cracks or dents in the wood but the hinged lid has some small surface cracks in it along the grain of the wood (see photos). These crack appear to be very shallow and do not penetrate to the inner surface of the lid. The box measures approximately length 7 5/8\" x width 5 1/4\" x height 1 1/2\". The lid has a lovely inlaid floral design. There is what appears to be a faint watermark from a cup on the lid (see photos). There is beautiful inlaid work all around the side of the box. The box sides have a particularly attractive leopard grain pattern. The box is covered with lacquer on the outside. The inside is unfinished. The box is perfect for storing earrings and small jewelry pieces.
